"Dracula" Character Design. Final turnaround

Pilgrims came into my head when I got an idea of a troupe of vampires traveling across the seas in search of a new homeland after being banished from theirs. As you can see they are stuck in the middle of a storm, in a tiny boat, miserable.
(Ink and Illustrator)

My friend Irene and I produced and animated a short film for our graduation project. Above, the main character, the boogy man of mexican folklore El Cucuy. I wanted a completely different take on him. So instead of scary I went for loud and flamboyant.

*AURORA*

I finished this puppet in just about a week. I just need to string her and she's done. I may add a cape to her later.

Aurora is stringed and finished. She is currently on display at Puzzle Zoo Toys in Santa Monica, Ca.
